Consulting with companies such as Visa, Inc., International Insight, King, Brown & Partners, Inc., and Microsoft, she has led a wide range of consulting projects, developing market opportunity assessments, business and product plans, strategic plans, customer needs analyses, and due diligence reports for companies in a variety of industries, including technology, consumer products, financials services, and healthcare.

Ms. Hanson has a specialty in Greater China business development and speaks Mandarin Chinese. She has extensive experience conducting market research and business analysis to help technology clients seize market opportunities in China. She also has deep experience in conducting primary interviews with technology users and decision-makers (consumer, commercial and public sector interviewees).
