Dr. Saldívar provides highly specialized experience and knowledge in the biotechnology industry and markets. Throughout his career, he has introduced a number of medical diagnostic techniques with a special focus on promoting the healthcare independence of emerging economies.

Dr. Saldívar brings an added dimension of geographic expertise in Mexico. He grew up in Mexico City and practiced medicine by providing medical care to rural populations. After receiving his M.D., Dr. Saldívar received a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering in Mexico, and later a Ph.D. in Bioengineering at the University of California, San Diego. Throughout his career, he has been appointed faculty in prestigious academic institutions, including The Scripps Research Institute and La Jolla Bioengineering Institute, both in San Diego, California. In addition, Dr. Saldívar is the founder of Rainmaker Technology, Inc. a medical device firm.
