As a Strategic Advisor, Gloria Vailati regularly contributes her recommendations and suggestions to Vital Wave Consulting's strategic direction. With 18 years of emerging-market business experience at Unisys, Compaq and HP, she brings a keen understanding of customer needs that ensures maximum value of Vital Wave Consulting products and services.

Most recently, Ms. Vailati was the head of HP’s Personal Systems Group (PSG) commercial products for Latin America, a $1 billion business unit responsible for all desktops, notebooks, and other solutions sold to businesses or governments in the region. Prior to leading that unit’s two-year turnaround, Ms. Vailati headed the Latin American handheld and commercial desktop businesses.

Ms. Vailati began her IT career at Unisys Argentina as head of marketing. In 1992, she joined Compaq Argentina as marketing and sales manager. Within a year, Compaq was the #1-selling PC in the country. After moving to Compaq’s US headquarters, she managed regional product launches and served as Marketing Director, Director of Business Development, and Director of Emerging Products for Latin America.

Ms. Vailati has an undergraduate degree in marketing from the Universidad del Salvador in Buenos Aires, Argentina and an Executive MBA from the University of Houston.
