Kelly Hutchinson joined
Vital Wave Consulting in
2007, bringing expertise
in Southeast Asian
private sector
development, relevant
ICT solutions, social
entrepreneurship,
community information
centers and rural
development.
Ms.
Hutchinson served from
2003-2006 as General
Manager of SilkRoad
Cambodia, where she
facilitated strategic
partnerships between
business, government,
donors and academic
institutions. At
SilkRoad, she managed
numerous projects,
including the
development of web-based
solutions for clients
such as the Cambodia
Government-Private
Sector Forum. As the ICT
Expert for Indochina
Research from 2002-2006,
she coordinated IT
sector research for
Cambodia, Laos and
Vietnam. Ms. Hutchinson has
over seven years
experience working with
bilateral agencies and
multilateral donors on
international
development projects.
She has been active in
the Australian Business
Association of Cambodia,
and she co-founded the
ICT Association of
Cambodia.
Ms.
Hutchinson earned
Master’s degrees in
Communications and in
Business IT from RMIT
University, Australia.
She was an invited
speaker at the WITSA
World IT Congress in
Austin (2006) and the
Global Public Policy
Conferences in Kuala
Lumpur (2005) and Cairo
(2007). Ms. Hutchinson
writes on a number of
issues, including the
digital divide,
outsourcing to the
developing world and
emerging market
opportunities in the
less-developed countries
of Southeast Asia. |
